    Support for Mac OS Leopard?

    Hi,

Since Apple is eating fast it's way into the Microsoft empire getting more and more market share not only corporate but also for consumers, are there any plans to port the NT to OS X ?

I also wish that NinjaTrader will eventually be ported to Mac OS X. When this occurs, my transition from the dreaded Vista will be complete.

Yes, NT for Mac OS X would be awesome. There is no useful Trading Software for Mac OS X so far, there is a market niche.

Will NT 7 via Vmware make use of multi cpus ?

Porting ninja on Mac osx would give you an edge. Indeed there are no good trading plateform on mac, but mac community is millions and growing. They will rush on Ninjatrader if you are the first to port such a high class plateform on mac.

Personally, the only reason I don't move on mac is the need to keep my pc to run ninja.

It's sad because mac pro plateforms, with their huge screens, double quad cores are PERFECT environement for trading applications.

That's quite a lot of power you put into the play here. I'm on a iMac 2.8.

Running bootcamp. What installs do you guys use for NT vmware with XP ?

Windows emulation is the way to go, but yes I wish porting to Unix would be made as it would ease things up.

NinjaTrader is a MS Windows based application and does not support the Mac OS natively however, it can be run within a Mac environment through one of the following virtualization applications:

                              • Parallels Desktop for Mac
                              • VMware Fusion
                              • Apple Boot Camp

Although we do not guarantee that NinjaTrader will run as designed, we have run in-house tests on the above listed applications and have not run into any known issues.
