Strategy Analyzer - simple backtest never finishes.

When I open new backtest,
and try the original "Sample ATM strategy" in default settings and 1-minute data.
Backtest starts but never finishes.

I have demo data and chart opened with the data, that I am backtesting - I mean it is not problem with missing / downloading data for backtest.

I can reproduce it any time. Backtest starts and displays:""Running backtest on 6E 09-15",
and this never finishes.

After some additional testing and investigation, I found when it works and when not.

It works - when I am not connected to CQG demo connection.
It stops to work - when I am connected to CQG demo connection.

When connected to CQG, also loading of new charts stops to work.

It is completely reproducible. You can connect to my PC if needed and check the problem.

Hello misova,

Please note that the SampleAtmStrategy is not programmed to submit orders. Only the SampleMACrossOver strategy will submit orders from the sample strategies. When I test it on my end, it finishes the backtest but with no results. I assume you did not alter the code of the SampleAtmStrategy.

Do you experience any issues when you backtest the SampleMACrossOver strategy?

You are right.
When "Sample MA crossover" strategy is chosen, then it works completely well.

So finally there is no problem and backtesting works as expected.
