^DJIA start time on chart with IB

Hi,

Apparently, IB sends data about ^DJIA prior to 9:30; the chances of getting IB to do anything are about as remote as them doing anything positive for Customer Relations. Any chance of ignoring the data (or does Session Start and End do this ?) ?
