A request was made back in June 2012 for a Parallelogram Draw Tool with the tracking # 91. However, it was never considered in NT7, or even NT 8, so far.
Parallelogram is a very useful draw tool, same as a Rectangle draw tool, and is frequently used for trend channels or for sizing swings, targets, S/R, etc.. Although, almost the same can be accomplished by using a trend channel tool, it does not visually serve the purpose.
Please consider adding this parallelogram draw tool in NT8. I assume a simple modification of either Draw Rectangle or Draw Trend Channel tools would accomplish this task.
An alternative is the provide an option to fill the region inside the Trend Channel (although not really that professional). Or, perhaps one of the NT8 coding guru members would help to convert the open Rectangle or Trend Channel codes into a Parallelogram tool.
