    Suggestions for the Fibonacci Tool

    Hi again,

Been playing around with the Fib tool for a while, and would like to refine my suggestions for improvement.

    1. Option to switch OFF the price level text. Not really needed, since you can extend the lines to the right, which will line up with the price levels on the right.

    2. Option to switch OFF percentage level text (while retaining the lines). Since you can colour code the various values for each line, you don't need a text value, since you can remember what value the colours of the lines represent.

    3. Option to place the text on the left or the right, and scale so that they remain on the screen on the right side. If the text is needed, at present it tends to clutter the bars between the 100% and the 0% where you set your start and finish points. The bars leading up to the high, the low and the retracement are quite important, so they should be easily viewable, at present the text covers them. Actually, you don't need the lines or the text to appear before the 0% mark (ie. to the left of the 0%), as any retracing only occurs after the point where the 0% is set. (see attachment)

    4. Option to set the horizontal length of the Fib lines. We only need the lines to extend a certain length because the retracement only lasts a certain time. Apart from daily high and daily low, which are good to know at all times, the minor Fib retracements are only needed for the short term within the chart. If you are following price movements and adding Fibs along the way, one tends to end up with "Clutter" rather than "Cluster" :-) Retracements only last a short while, so the lines that indicate their levels should too. And if you are following the market actively, its too much hassle to keep going back to delete onld Fibs...

    5. Option to change the number of decimal places of the percentages. How many decimal places does one need for retracements? Do we need 100ths of a percent? I don't think so.
At present, whether you input a whole number, or include 1 or 2 decimal places, the chart will show 2 decimal places anyway, and if you type in a whole number and click APPLY, the edit box will change your figure to 1 decimal place as well. A glitch there I think.

    Thanks for listening!
