    NT 7vs8 stability issues.

    Can anybody comment on the stability of NT8 in terms of any or all of the following issues that has plagued my experience with NT7.

    Charts hanging.
    Data loading issues.
    Market Replay locking up and not functioning properly.
    Simulated data not working...connects but no movement.
    Memory hogging.

    I have downloaded the Beta version but cannot get much experience as only one data connection at a time.

    I have noticed the great implementation of tabs but unfortunately no tabbed workspaces, which I would have thought would be the most important tab of the lot.

    NT8 is in OPEN BETA... You should report your issues for investigation.

    If you also have those same issues in NT7... ummm... maybe you need a VPS (virtual pvt server) in the USA....

      Maybe I did not make myself clear. I am asking others of their experience with NT8 vs NT7?

        Hello,

        I will need to see your log and trace for today look further into this inquiry.

        Could you please send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->EMail Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att AlanP', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.

            Hello Peter,

            I'm seeing in your Log files some Exceptions relating to the Shark/Bloodhound third party indicators which would contribute to some of the issues you're experiencing.

            Regarding replay, it is recommended to use a different workspace for replay that has just the instrument you want to replay.
