There are some drawing objects, such as the horizontal line, where it will just paste over the previous line.
I use duplication on several draw objects (rectangles, line, regression channel) ...it is not critical that the copy be offset.

Had not used CTRL C V in awhile and had forgotten about it....it works well for my purposes, as does the mouse new parallel method in TradeStation...the mouse method may be very slightly easier...

Thanks for your time on this....

Zach I think what he is referring too is this. When we draw a pitchfork it would be nice if we could select a line on the pitchfork and copy and paste it with 2 clicks for a sliding parallel. What we have to do now is draw a line along the median line of a pitch fork and hope we have it on the right slope. This takes way to long and is hard to get the line on the exact slope.

We dont want to copy the whole pitchfork, we just need one line. I think we would just need to be able to have that on the pitchfork and trend channel.

The offset is so we can just grab it easily

CTRL + V copies the object on top of the original, not offset.

Using 2 mouse clicks in TradeStation still seems a bit easier possibly.

    Thanks....

    Hello Alfred,

    Thank you for writing in.

You can select the drawing object, hit CTRL + C on your keyboard and then hit CTRL + V. This will draw the new object slightly offset to the previous.

Please, let us know if we may be of further assistance.

In Ninja when you want to duplicate an object, you must right click and select "copy"...
then you have to select "paste" from another drop down list.

In TradeStation you can right click an object and select "new parallel" and immediately get a slightly offset duplicate object....this method is much much better.
    Screen shot below...

Ninjas duplication method is awkward in comparison...
