Dash Style Sizes and Gaps Too Large

    Dear Support,

I just needed to use a dash line with a thickness of 10 and noticed the dashes and gaps between dashes are ridiculously too wide. So I checked dash style against NT7 and here is what I found in the attached screenshots for two identical NT7 and NT8 charts.

    1. The NT8 dash size (Length) is at least twice the size of NT7 for the same thickness
    2. The NT8 gap size (Lenght) is least 5 times the gap size of NT7 for the same thickness

These ratios make Dash Style unsightly and almost unusable on charts. For example, try to compare a Dash Dot Dot line with a thickness of 10 or even 5 in both NT7 and NT8.

Recommendation: Use the same sizing for Dash line sizing as those in NT7.

An Observation: The sizing issue seems to exist in several of the draw objects, perhaps all those draw objects need to be revisited. A recent modification in NT8.0.6.1 was to revert back the sizing of Draw.Dot/TriangleUp/Down to the smaller NT7 size.

    Cheers!

    Hello,

    Thanks for posting.

I have submitted these items as Feature Requests to the Development Team to consider the possibility of switching back to a more traditional appearance in future releases of the platform.
