Vendor Licensing Tool - Show Filter Wildcards

Would it be possible to add support for wildcards in the "Show" filter functionality?

We organize our user list in the format "Last Name, First Name" and it would be really helpful to be able to search a specific user (or family) by entering part of the name or a name with an asterisk.

    For example,
    1) Entering "Smith", then clicking "Show" would display all records starting with "Smith"

    OR

    2) Entering ""Smith*", then clicking "Show" would display all records starting with "Smith"

(The second example uses an asterisk as a wildcard.)

    Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for making the request. I have wanted this for a long time, but was just too lazy to write it up as a request.
