So when the crossover occurs, I'd rather wait for a 2 tick pullback before entering. There's no setting in (Strategy Builder - Conditions - Price) to select the "last price" and then offset by -2 ticks. I would be grateful if someone could shed some light on proper setting. I've tried numerous settings, and nothing seems to take into account the price at which the cross occurred and then subtract by 2 ticks.

Multiple Trades Per Bar Problem
Hello. I have a moving crossover strategy and instead of going long when the crossover occurs, I would like to have a limit order triggered but I'm having trouble with the correct setting via Strategy Builder...

Have everything look back 2 ticks prior so something like this:
//this would check that the crossover happened, make sure it's still above, and basically verify that it didn't happen in the last few ticks.
MACD is pretty useless by itself as an indicator though, I only "glance" at it
if ( (CrossAbove(MACD.Diff(),0,5) && MACD.Diff[0]>0 && MACD.Diff[1]>0)
{
do this;
}

Hello Demo9044,
In the field where the price can be set- Hover the mouse over the value, then click the set link that appears.
- In the Value window select Price -> select Close
- In the properties below for the Offset value, select the negative sign from the drop-down
- Enter a 2 in the empty value
(you can also click set and use a variable here if you would like) - Click Ok -> click OK
Below is a publicly available link to the help guide.
