    Data.BarsBytes Error

    Hi,

    I am running NT8 version 12, and I am using an indicator that uses Tick Replay. My indicator is not showing up on my chart. The Trace file shows the following error:

    2018-02-06 00:22:58:788 ERROR: Data.BarsBytes.Decompress: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: The added or subtracted value results in an un-representable DateTime.
    Parameter name: value
    at System.DateTime.AddTicks(Int64 value)
    at NinjaTrader.Data.BarsBytes.DecompressBuiltFromTick Time(BinaryReader reader, Byte infoByte, DateTime& lastTimeRead)
    at NinjaTrader.Data.BarsBytes.Decompress(BinaryReader reader, Boolean fromUtc, Bars barsProxy, Nullable`1 minTime, Nullable`1 maxTime, Boolean suppressSessionHandling)
    2018-02-06 00:22:58:788 ERROR: Cbi.Instrument.RequestBars: The added or subtracted value results in an un-representable DateTime.

    I have tried repairing the db but that has had no effect. Any information regarding this error would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Does the issue occur if you use a built-in indicator which utilizes tick replay? Follow these steps to test:
    What do you observe when you follow these steps?

      Hi Patrick,

      When I follow the steps you indicated, the volume profile shows as expected and as shown in your screen casts.

        What is the name of the indicator which you're experiencing the original error with?

        If the indicator is custom, did you create it? If so, could you provide the NinjaScript files?

        If not, what was the original source of the indicator? Provide a link to the source or any other relevant information about the original developer.

          Hi Patrick,

          It is a custom indicator. I did not create it so I have no access to the actual files. There is no relevant information I can provide other than the indicator name. Do you still need it under these circumstances?

          By the way, I have contacted the developer and he is baffled. He suggested I contact Ninja support.

            I would like to test the custom file on my end to see what behavior I experience on my end. The next step will be determined by the results of that test.
