Dont laugh! Where do I find all the alarms, alerts setup on NT8
ok I have no idea which alert it is but its been going all day while ES has been going up and down or GC, not sure it might be on my 6E chart, but the thing is going off setting off alerts that sound like a doorbell. and every time I have gone to answer the flipping front door instead of looking at the charts, i need to disable this without removing everything i have on all my charts. anythgouths>?Tags: None

Under "Tools" "General" "Sounds" you can change or disable a sound.
A neat trick is to use a free text to wav program to create your own sounds. I particularly hate the cash register sound played when a trailing stop is moved so using a text to wav program to make a wav that says "Trailing Stop Moved". Save it in the Sounds folder under Ninja Trader 8 file. Then change the name under Auto trail to the file you saved. Then when the trailing stop is moved it says trailing stop moved instead of a cash register noise.
I also use it to create other audio files that I attach to my crated strategies. Instead of just putting an arrow on a chart you can add a custom sound. For example I have sounds that say "S & P 500.. Go Long" and "S & P 500.. Go Short" when a signal fires.
