NT froze touchscreen go haywire.

Hello,

Anyone having trouble with Nt 8 and windows 10?

Sometimes i get phantom click up screen like if i touch the touchscreen but i dont.
It minimize the NT window (it wont stop clicking for a minute at least and lock the laptop). Sometimes but rarely Nt will froze for a minute.

Dell said it was windows 10 and made me reinstall the whole thing. After 3 weeks trouble came back this morning. Is it hardware or Nt software that bug with windows? Trouble seems to appear only with nt. I disable touchscreen to see if it will return.

Dont know what to do anymore warranty off.

I suspect that if any "phantom click" was occurring because of an issue with the touchscreen that it would certainly register in NinjaTrader and cause the symptom you're describing.

In general, NinjaTrader was not designed with touchscreens in mind, however, this doesn't mean touchscreens are 'unsupported' per se. If that touchscreen is malfunctioning, it is unknown what issues this may cause.

I am curious to know if the issue returns while the touchscreen is deactivated. Please let me know the results.

There is nothing suspicious in NT log or event viewer.

Many people points the blame to windows on the net, others think is a hardware related problem to touchscreen.
I saw the same trouble also once while doing an online scan with eset a saturday morning.

These kinds of trouble are experienced by many different companies from Dell to Lenovo or HP.

I'm puzzle and desperate. You trade and lose control of the laptop its a catastrophe.
