Drawing Objects ignore expiration of futures

Assume having a chart of ES 03-18.
Draw something on it, e.g. an Arrow-Line
Make sure it says "attached to "ES 03-18" in the properties
Switch instrument to ES 06-18. Arrow line is still visible!

Remove the arrow line on current ES 06-18.
    Switch back to ES 03-18
The Arrow line is gone here, too.

Pretty obvious, NT8 is attaching drawing objects to the instrument only, ignoring the expiration of the contract.

This means, if I have charts loaded with drawing objects on one expiration and switch to the next, I cannot get a clean chart for the new expiration without losing all objects for the former expiration, too.

I believe to remember that NT7 behaved different here, treating two expirations as two instruments.

And, as I already mentioned in another thread:
The "automatic rollover" seems to do nothing but auto-selecting the new expiration on all open charts.
Since all drawings remain on the chart (or better: are attached to the instrument only), they're all wrong / not matching former anchor points anymore after the rollover.

Since during the "automatic rollover" the exact shift in points from expiration A to expiration B is known, it would help a ton if the attached drawing objects were shifted by the same amount as well.

So, please, either attach drawing objects to the combo "instrument PLUS expiration" - OR shift the existing drawings during the automatic rollover process accordingly.

The current solution is kind the worst of both worlds, creating a chart cluttered with all wrong drawing charts, but yet preventing from deleting them on the new contract since they will be lost on the old one as well.

Hmm, just figured how to resolve this, at least for me.
Saving the complete workspace to a new copy before switching instruments will provide the option to keep all drawings on the old expiration (in the correct place) in one workspace, and yet being able to start with clean, fresh charts for the new expiration in the other workspace...
