Integrating Templates From Ninja 7 To 8

Hello,

I have my entire trading system developed into a single template on NT7. Is it possible to transfer it for use into NT8?

It includes several public domain indicators and numerous custom indicators that I have built into the NinjaScript. If it is not possible to transfer an entire template, is it possible to export my custom NinjaScript indicators to version 8?

Unfortunately, due the code breaking changes to the structure of NinjaScripts as well as changes to the NinjaScript properties and methods, no scripts created for NinjaTrader 7 will import into NinjaTrader 8.

This means the script will need to be recreated in NinjaTrader 8 for the NT8 platform.

My system is based upon indicators using an "If, then" logic. Will I be able to code the following in NinjaTrader 8: If the close of Bar(1) is greater than the Midpoint of Bar(2), then a circle appears beneath Bar(0)

This is a very simple example, but is the basic functionality possible via a custom indicator builder or NT8 NinjaScript?

Yes, in the Strategy Builder Conditions window you can compare the Price > Close on the left with Price > Median on the right.
