    Historical Data Missed Some Period

    Hi Support,


    It's missing some market data on the chart when I open a new chart dialog to get the new live data.

    I found the missed data is cannot download from historical data dialog. I had checked with IB support that confirmed the live data is available.

    After troubleshooting, the IB api had return all requested market data.

    Ninjatrader cannot receive all api returned data to display and for calculation.

    I had missed the entry order from this issue. Please advise.

    My machine time zone is (UTC +8) and the setting on Ninjatrader is (UTC -6).

    Thank you for your post,

    Resetting your instruments should resolve this item.

    To reset your instruments, please take the steps below.

    First, disconnect from any data providers by navigating to the Control Center > Connections menu, and left-click on “disconnect” that appears to the right when hovering your mouse over any active connection
    Next, reset your instruments by navigating to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management
    In the Database Management window, under the “Update instruments” section, ensure that “General properties”, "Futures expiries" and “Symbol mappings” options are checked and then click Update
    Restart NinjaTrader for the changes to occur
    Lastly, please right click on the chart and select Reload All Historical Data.

        Thank you for your reply.

        To test, please use the step below to clear the data cache.

        First please close NinjaTrader and navigate to the following directory:
        *
        My Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Db


        Delete the contents of the cache, tick, minute and day folders. Now, when you restart NinjaTrader and connect to your data feed, NinjaTrader will load new data.

          Not work, still no data, the historical data show until 2018-05-23 22:01 (UTC -6). The current real time data is at 2018-05-24 12:00 (UTC -6).

            Hello matrixxx,

            Please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.

            You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.

            Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.
