Unhandled Exception!?

Hi Support,

just by creating something as simple as that I would get and Unhandled Exception.


Please try to replicate this, I am using NT 8.0.14.1 64bit


the setupbuy variable is given as a VARIABLE and the other ones (RSIrange etc) as INPUTS.


If you remove the SetupBuy=1 from the strategybuilder it will compile fine again.


Please advice.



This is not the first time I have had this issue while building with the strat builder but this is the first time I get to pinpoint the issue and replicate it.

That doesn't look right. I've been able to reproduce and I've reported the matter further. I'll update this post as this matter develops.

Yes, I would advise programming by hand for now until this gets fixed in a future release of NinjaTrader.

EDIT: This issue has been given the ticket ID of NTEIGHT-12901 who's number can be found in the Release Notes page of the of the help guide when a new release contains a fix for the issue.
