6A and BRN symbol problems

Hello,

I am using NT7 and Cont. for data.

Yesterday I was trying to open a BRN <Brent Crude Oil>chart and no data loads but it is in my symbol list.

I traded 6A<Aussie Dollar> yesterday now the Symbol is not in my instrument list and I can not pull up a chart.

What is going on here?

Thank you for your post. What BRN and 6A exprity is in use? E.g., BRN 08-18.

Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)


The first thing I would recommend doing is shutting down NinjaTrader and restarting your modem/router.

If you have an antivirus/firewall installed you will want to add NinjaTrader to its exceptions list.

Thanks but I got it straightened out.

Tried to reinstall but it kept the old DB.

Then I went to the data section, and chose all the reset options and it cleared up my issues.

I seem to have everything back to normal except BRN 08-18 shows no Bid and ask prices. The chart seems to work though.

No error reports or anything show up.

I had reinstalled the latest version of NT7 from the download section tonight.

Is this for a demo? If so, the demos are not enabled for BRN. For a live account, you will need to contact your broker to enable the real-time data.

It is for live trading.

I guess I will have to contact the broker. Seems very odd suck a major contract would have to be asked for though.
