Apply strategy to multiple charts?

Hi,

Just wondering if there's a way to (quickly) apply a strategy to multiple charts? I know I can add an instrument list when adding a strategy via the main strategies tab, but that doesn't actually attach the strategy to any open charts. As such, any drawings or buttons etc that the strategy produces won't show.

I have about 40 chart tabs in a window and it's a bit painful whenever I need to add the strategy back to each one individually.

I'm guessing there's not or I probably would have found it by now, but thought it was worth asking in case I've missed something. I've seen some proprietary indicators that appear to do this (e.g. Quick Drawing by ninZa.co), but I'm not sure what they're actually doing behind the scenes, or whether a similar trick would be possible with strategies.

Thank you for the post.

Strategies currently can only be applied to a single series at a time which would mean that you either apply them to a single chart directly or in the control center.

Because strategies specifically are designed the opposite of what you want, I would suggest using an addon if you wanted to apply "something" to all charts globally. This is useful if you have a set of buttons or something like that which you want on all charts. An indicator can also be used for order submission now with the addon framework.

A possible solution could be an indicator that is applied to all charts and in addition to being saved with the workspace it could draw on each chart. That indicator could utilize the addon framework to submit orders and control them as a strategy does with its conditions. The only caveat is that you are using manual orders with the addon framework which are not tracked in strategy performance, they are instead tracked like regular orders.

I am trying the same, but it is still difficult to use only data series variables in the strategy as my charts freezes or anything else difficult. So I thought of an addon to manage this. I wonder if there is an addon available for this particular use between a strategy working on multicharts. I have not found any on my side.
