IB Connection - Live account not price update

Trading live, I see that the P+L, unrealized etc, do not show anything once a position is on.


When I was using the sim, it shows your P+L immediately as soon as a position is entered.


Live, it only shows these metrics once the trade is closed out.

To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'. Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.

We emailed you on August 8th with the answer.

The Interactive Brokers Connection API does not provide data for the Unrealized PnL, but you should see data for the Gross Realized, Realized and Total PNL.

Below is a link to our help guide that discusses what fields you should see with the Interactive Brokers connection.

If you are not seeing data within these fields, please do the following.
Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 8--> DB--> NinjaTrader.SDF.
Right click on NinjaTrader.SDF and select "Rename." *Name it "OLDNinjaTrader.SDF."
Then restart the software and NinjaTrader will create a fresh database file to use
Unfortunately the following items stored in the old database will be lost - Trading Hours templates, Instrument Lists / Custom Instruments, historical trade execution data, saved Strategy Analyzer backtest results
