Please can you send me instructions on how to setup an audible alert for when a candlestick on a chart turns from positive to negative for example on a 4 hour or daily candlestick price trades above or below its open. I need it to alert me on each instance of the cross above / cross below its open level.. Thank you.

What version of NinjaTrader 8 are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.0.X.0)

Did you want this alert to run from a chart window? Or did you have a different window in mind (Market Analyzer, for example)?

Currently im using version 8.0.15.1 64-bit and i suppose running from a chart window is fine just as long as there is an audible/popup notification of the event each time it occurs. Thanks

To create an alert, right-click on your chart > Alerts...

I attached screenshots which demonstrates the alert settings you would need to accomplish what you desire:

General settings - I used a rearm of 'On Timer = 1' just for testing. This rearm type can be whatever you desire:

Conditions - Below is a screenshot of the 'Cross above open' condition. Note on the right side that 'Price type' is changed to 'Open'. The second condition is identical other than changing the operator to 'cross below':

Action - Choose your own sound here, or choose a built in one.
