Thank you for your post.

To copy a trendline you have drawn on a chart please left click on the line to select. Once selected you will want to right mouse click and choose Copy than right mouse click again and choose Paste.

Sometimes when pasting the new line it will be placed on top of the other line you copied from.

This is a problem I hope is fixed in the next version. The paste function SHOULD paste where your pointer is!

Yes I agree. It is not very fluent, seems like have to work at it to do a simple copy and paste of a trend line in nt8

Any chance of a more streamline workflow, of just ctrl dragging on a trend line to copy and place it in one swift action?

Sorry I'm not sure what is referred by "ctrl dragging". Could you please clarify? Are you saying you would like a line to be copied once selected and you hit Ctrl on your keyboard?
