Vertical Line At Time Indicator

Hello sh_daggett,

I’ve been trying to use the ‘Vertical Line At Time’ indicator but it keeps locking up my computer after the line is drawn. Is there something that can be done to correct this? I’m using the version that was updated 5/30/12. This is a very useful indicator and I hope there’s a fix for the lock-up problem.

Hello sh_daggett. I have been using the BzvVerticalLineAtTime indicator for some time and I like it very much. I do not know of any other indicator that plots vertical lines at times. I have noticed this indicator has recently stopped plotting certain lines. For example, if I plot a 9:30 a.m. line on a 15-minute chart (that shows multiple days) the indicator will plot the line for most of the 9:30 a.m. times, but not all of them. Please advise. Thank you!

Hello sh_daggett, Thank you for making the Vertical Line at Time indicator. It works well however, it hides the chart's background grid lines. (I keep the horizontal lines visible). Is there a work around for this? Am I able to use your indicator and keep the horizontal grid lines visible as well?

Hello Maria. I'm not sure if sh_daggett has ever replied to me. I do not remember. However, I have chosen to use the Ninjacators "Zones" indicator at https://ninjacators.com/shop/single-...trading-zones/ It costs $147.00, but I like it, but only because I could not find another "vertical line at time" indicator. The "Zones" indicator is designed to plot vertical zones at time, but you can modify the indicator to plot just vertical lines by using the "Transparent" color to make the zones disappear. For example, a 9:30 a.m. EST to 10:00 a.m. EST zone would have two lines at 9:30 and 10:00 and in between those two lines will be a colored vertical zone. I make the line at 10:00 and the colored zone disappear by coloring them transparent. Now, all I have is a vertical line at 9:30. Presto!. You just need to be imaginative and think outside the box to get these indicators to do want you want. The Ninjacators website is pretty cool. Lots of "how to" videos for each of their proprietary indicators. I am not associated with them. I am only a satisfied customer. Good wishes to you. Mike, [email protected]

Hello again, Maria. Also, the Ninjacators customer service support team is pretty good. However, they are not paid enough to be imaginative and think outside the box. My wanting to use their Zones indicator as a Vertical Line indicator caused them to scratch their heads for awhile. Once I was able to find a person who could stay with me on the same page, she was able to confirm that what I was doing was the best way to accomplish my goal. Short of getting Ninjacators to create a Vertical Lines indicator, which confuses me as to why they do not do that. Best wishes. Mike, [email protected]
