Potential bug, "Unhandled exeption: The ":" character, hexadecimal value 0x3A, .....

    Hello

I've created an indicator and the moment you double click to add it to the chart NT8 throws the following error.
If I reduce the number of input parameters (in this case there are over 50 dates) it does not occur.

I'd be happy to email the source code to the support team

    Hello,

    Thank you for the post.

I would be happy to look into a sample that shows the property, if you have not yet excerpted the property and tried it in a separate script I would suggest to try that first. This would just help confirm the property its self specifically is causing the error and not some other logic associated that uses the property.

When you have a sample you can provide, I would like to see take a look at the code to see what may be the cause. If you do not wish to share the sample you create on the forums, you can email me at platformsupport [at] ninjatrader.com and provide a link to this post for reference.

I look forward to being of further assistance.

      Hi,

The following indicator reproduces the error just by having a number of parameters.

      Thanks for your help

Ok I actually found the problem....having a ":" in the GroupName attribute of a parameter upsets it.
