Generating Ninjascript Caching Code

I prefer to develop my Ninjatrader Code Outside of the main Ninjatrader folder for various reasons. My files are copied over in a post-build task and Ninjatrader detects them and builds them into the Ninjatrader.Custom.dll.

I've had problems the last few days and I have tracked it down to the "Ninjascript Generated Code" at the Bottom of my Ninjascript classes not being regenerated.

If I modify a file (even just a ctrl-s) it the code gets generated. But not when its copied into the folder - copying a file in triggers the build, but not the code generation.

I've tried various things like adding a blank line during the build task and updating the timestamp, but can't get the code to generate automatically.

Any ideas how I can trigger this?

As there is no comparable NT7 or documented NT8 behavior, and this requires new development, and some users may prefer Ninja not generate code to add to externally managed code, I have submitted a feature request to the product management team for the following feature :

When NS files are copied in, this user would like NS to generate its usual generated code, without having to modify the code in the editor. There should be an option to disable this behavior through Tools -> Options

I will follow up with more information as soon as it's available. If the feature requests already exists, a vote will be added to it.
