Ninjatrader 8 will not execute
My OS is Windows 10. In the last couple of days Microsoft made several updates to the OS on my machine. NT8 had worked fine up to then. Today I tried to bring up NT8 and it crashed. I tried downloading the latest NT8, installed it and it too crashed. I have attached a screen shot of the error.Tags: None

If the issue remains, please send me your log and trace files so I can investigate. Log and trace files can be found at the following locations.
Windows start menu-->Documents-->NinjaTrader 8-->log
Windows start menu-->Documents-->NinjaTrader 8-->trace
Right click the log and trace folder and select Send to-->Compressed (zipped) folder. Subsequently attach both .zip files in your email and send it to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Put 'Att Jason, http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...d.php?t=104120' in the subject field.JasonNinjaTrader Customer Service

Finally found the problem. Yes, non of the Windows 10 fixes worked, but it turns out that it is not a Windows 10 problem only. My antivirus program updated to the latest version of their software and one of the "features" is they now protect the documents folder from ALL programs not in a list of acceptable programs. Guess what, there are no acceptable programs on installation. I turned that feature off and everything works. That is a crappy thing for ANY software program to do and I will tell them so.
