I am able to connect to the server through
int Connected(intshowMessage)
Now I want to use function int Ask(string instrument, double price, int size) but what will happen?


I mean what would be steps to do trading through vs2012 c# windows application.



Do I need to have some account (I though have a demo account given when I downloaded the Ninja Trader 8 control center)?

To start with I have downloaded Ninja Trader 8 and created Ninja Forex free live trading demonstration account. In my code I am able to connect to the server. Now how do I make trading strategies? How it will link to my demo account?

You’d like to trade through a application you’ve created in VS?
Yes, I want to do trading in foreign currency say GBPUSD.

Do you wish to fund a live account?
I don’t have a live account so far as I am just gaining the understanding on how Ninja trader works and if things work fine then I will buy a live account.Is it possible to see entries anywhere (control center which i have downloaded)? How do i ensure in my code that it goes in my demo account?

I want to know how can i push my data in ninja trader through c# code? Do I need to have an account and if so can my demo account be used. How can I set the order through vs2012 c# code? Please advise how can I send data that reflect in my account.

Could you please provide more information on what you are trying to do? I’m not sure I understand what you mean by push data in ninja trader through c# code.

You would need to have an account to trade live however would be able to use a demo to do everything you could on a real account just with play money rather than real capital.
