NT8 daily, weekly, monthly data
Does the daily, weekly, and monthly data using NT8 come from a different data source than tick or minute data? I'm using CQG data and when looking at the daily data and higher on my charts, I'm missing data for 1/20/16 (at least for ES, NQ, and CL). I did a reload of historical data, but that date is still missing. If I use 1440 minutes however, I see the data for 1/20/16.Tags: None

As the daily/weekly/monthly data noted above is still missing from the server, I have a few more questions:
1. Does this missing historical data for CQG/Continuum only affect NT8?
2. Is the historical data for CQG/Continuum maintained by CQG or Ninjatrader?
3. What types of historical data are available for CQG/Contiuum and for how long?
4. As the daily/weekly/monthly historical data is inaccurate for CQG, is the solution to use minute charts for the desired timeframes instead?

Hello bksmm,
1) This data is missing from a server only used in NinjaTrader 8
2) The historical data is maintained by NinjaTrader
3) Day, tick, minute. There is not a set time
4) The time frame for daily bars is set by the data provider
To select the time frame used you will need to build the chart from intra day data using minute dataChristopher S.NinjaTrader Customer Service
