      Incredible Thank yous

      Guys

On the one hand, you boys made my task simpler by a thousand times, by putting these scripts here. I trade from Ethiopia, and rely a lot on online colloboration. Having read Undeclared Secrets, I am using VSA as one of my main indicators. I am therefore thankful, as I can compare my manual interpretations with the script's signals.

Herer are my manual readings on these charts.

Are u guys using Zenfire and gain capital for futures and forex feeds?

      Thanx

        Hi Humdesggg,
I trade FX spot using futures from Zen-Fire, cause it has a real contracts volumes from CME exchange.
Volumes from Mt4 brokers are not so reliable.

        Lubo.

Remember this is Beta because I don't have Ami to check if the results are similar to the ones in the original code, or if we can find the right person to validate the signals, but at the moments there's no kind soul to validate it .

          Regards

I saw it on AmiBroker and imho it seems very similar (even if identical).

                  question

                  Hi PrTester,

There's a way to have the current bar volume without vas signal on bar before it close?
This is the issue, if I set calculate on bar closed = false, it show current bar volume histogram, but the signal on candle don't work better....

                  Thanks.

                  Lubo.

The way to do that is to add another volume indicator into that panel and set it to false so you will see a current bar forming.

My understanding of VSA is that the current bar must close before you make your interpretation. There are some people who will use VSA on a 1-minute bar but I think must people will not go lower than a 15-minute bar.

                        Hey Bertrand,
I have the home study course from SMI/Wyckoff & have read through Tom Wiliams book back to front. I've also installed the VPA indictor and now run as an indicator of NT 6.5 chart.

Question, how do I activate it? I cant see the screen shot like those who have posted before me? If someone posted a new code and I would like to try it, is it just a matter of copy and paste? I'm new at coding.

                        regards

                        paul

Hi Paul, thanks for the post. Normally you would use new code by importing the provided zip file, which is the most convenient way. Sometimes you see a cs file posted, which needs to be copied in manually into the respective folders under MyDocuments > NinjaTrader 6.5 (Indicator for indicators, Strategy for strategies, Type for chart types like Renko...). After this custom install, make sure to compile your studies by opening one and hitting F5 in the NinjaScript editor, then it should be available for immediate use.

                              OK PrTester,
I've changed the following in NinjaScript Editor

                              DrawTextFixed( "Msg2", textMsg1 + "\n" + textMsg2, TextPosition.BottomRight,Color.Black, font, Color.Transparent, Color.Transparent, 10);

Compiled and Save the Script. Took the indicator off the chart and insert it in and still get the white back ground...

                              Suggestions?

Paul, you got the background color as transparent, so this is the reason it shows as 'white' from your standard chart background.

Use something like Color.Blue for the last color parameter in your posted snippet...
