When switching from a daily to a minute chart or any other timeframes does the memory disappear. I have an issue when doing some calculation. It might be because it is in a List but I was wondering what triggers are invoked in order to erase the data within the list.

When switching timeframes, the indicators applied would be reloaded, is this what you are asking? If so, that would be expected for any variables that reside in the indicator to be reset.
If you need to store data between reloads, you would need to look into either using text files to save and load data or possibly a static variable.
