Mutiple regions in same panel issue issue

    Scenario

I am on build 37 of the latest for Ninja 7 release.

I have a chart with 2 indicators that both draw a region. One uses ScaleJustification.Right and the other uses ScaleJustification.Left. They work fine in separate panels but if i put them both in the same panel (not the price panel) the region fill goes blank on one of the regions. The border shows correctly but no fill color.

So they look and work perfect in separate panels and all I do is change one indicator to use the same panel as the other then this issues appears.

    Observation:
Ninja does not like a ScaleJustification.Right and ScaleJustification.Left in the same panel.

I tried to shake it loose by assigning a different z-index to each indicator to no effect.

    Question:
Any insight, known issues, or words of wisdom.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the post.

It is certainly possible to use ScaleJustification.Right and ScaleJustification.Left in the same panel, it sounds like the indicator being used is not capable though. I tested a sample that just draws a region and applied it to both the left and right in a second panel and can see it working.

Could you tell me is this an included indicator that you are using or is this a custom item?

I look forward to being of further assistance.

        Hello,

        Thank you for clarifying.

Yes, In this case, I would likely need to have more details about the indicator in order to provide an accurate answer. My best guess would be that there is some logical reason in this specific indicator that creates that situation. If you are the creator of the item, I would be happy to review it further to see if anything can be done. Otherwise, I would likely suggest to put in a report about this to the developer of the indicator, if possible they can update it to fix the problem.

I look forward to being of further assistance.

            Hello,

Yes, a simplified example of just the problem would be great, you can either upload the .cs file or an export to the forum or email it to platform support @ ninjatrader.com

I look forward to being of further assistance.
