unfortunately it doesn´t work. It makes nothing. Clicking on Other options makes also nothing…

This indicator is publicly available on our NinjaTrader Ecosystem website:

Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:

Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

To Import:

1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

• Right-click your chart > Indicators... > Select the Indicator from the 'Available' list on the left > Add > OK

Here is a short video demonstration of the import process:

Actually having an issue. The inner tracker does not match the cursor position. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thank you for your note.

I would suggest reaching out to the original developer of this addon as it doesn't look like they've made any updates since 2018 to the indicator and there may be something that's changed in NinjaTrader since this was originally developed. The user is gubbar924 from this same thread, and they've been active relatively recently so you could try sending them a private message if they don't respond here.

I am not aware of if this behavior was resolved. If you are running into the same issue as kempotrader, you could contact the original developer of the NinjaScript AddOn (@gubbar924) through a private message on the Forums to inquire about if they implemented a fix for this and have an updated script export available for you to use.

It was a while ago now, but I believe this is what worked for me. Control Center> Tools> TG> Track your Cursor> Outer Tracker (enabled) I'm happy with the function.

Thank you Heart! Do you know if it's possible to create a script which will draw a short horizontal line on the cursor a set number of ticks above and below the center? I am familiar with scripting on other platforms but sadly not Ninjascript.
