Indicator with added data series on Dom.

If indicators applied to the Dom cannot have added data series their should be just a warning when applying the indicator rather than a Crash and Burn, further it should not allow the indicator to be applied.

Take a simple indicator like SMA add to its configure an addDataSeries() command.
Apply it to a Dom and watch the fireworks.

If you add the test script attached to the SuperDOM are you able to produce an error?

Can you provide a video demonstrating the test script I have provided you is able to produce an error and that you are using the latest version of NinjaTrader (8.0.7.1)?

The error indicates that you cannot use that plot name.

May I confirm you were able to reproduce using the script I have provided using the steps in the video I have provided?

The first error you saw was from a previous test script that was since deleted.
The next error was due to adding the SMA with one Command added.
I did not try your script because it does not use all the conditions I have since duplicated
3 times to produce the error.
Take an SMA add the one command and nothing else and insert into onto dom with the setup
shown in the video.

So I tried this on a Blank workspace with just a dom and I don't get the error.
So there is some kind of interference going on with my charts and other indicators.
Interesting that applying this to the Dom Forces this error. For the most part All the errors I have
had issues with in NT8 deal with added Data Series this is just another flavor.

I did not exclude Barsinprogress==0 as you did. When I ran the indicator on a chart It messed up the scaling as the SMA calculated out at 2x the price value because it was calculating twice. This may have messed up the Dom and caused the error because it was so far out of range. Just a guess, but once I fixed the code I no longer got the error.
