Has anyone had success with thin in NT7? I put the .cs file into the Indicator folder. I opened a chart and pressed F5 and do not see it in the Indicator list. I also went on the Control Center to Tools>Edit Ninjascript>Indicator highlighted it from the list and pressed OK and still do not see it in the Indicator list. Suggestions on what I might be doing or what I might not be doing correctly? Thanks!

      Hello RJBen,

In order to see cs files you must compile after they've been placed in your indicator directory. Click Tools > Edit NinjaScript > Open any indicator. Then, within the NinjaScript editor hit F5 to compile. It checks all NinjaScript files. If there are any error messages they'll be listed at the bottom of this page. If you don't see any, you can then add this indicator to a chart.

Can I ask what download you used? The .cs file I downloaded from the earlier post had programming errors that wouldn't compile.

I used the .cs file attached to Post #19.

The .zip file shown prior to that would not load for me.

I put together a new .zip file that has the setting adjusted to 25. Thanks to vic from post #19 and everyone else who assisted in researching this indicator to make it work in NT7.

                      Hello RJBen,

are there any further changes than changing the dafult value? Anyway, I couldn't get this indicator work on ES 3minutes, 5Minutes, 15Minutes, 30minutes or daily. Maybe I expect wrong functionality. In Tradestation, there was an Indicator, wich projectes possible gartley/butterfly patterns and the possible turning points.
Thank you Prov1322 for the screenshot. But this doesn't change anything - I don't see a pattern marked by this indicator in my charts.

My charts continue to show the patterns. I just tried it on a 3 min and it plotted fine. The higher the Tolerance Percent is set to the more patterns there are.

                          Which do you use?

So what is your preferred setting? What number? 25? 50? On what timeframe do you find the best results? Thank you, David Andrews

I am also having problems trying to install the Gartley Pattern CS file. Could you please assist me?

                            Thanks - Steven

                                Hello Manstein,

the Gartley indicator provided here isn't very good - my opinoin. I couldn't use this indicator in normal timeframes >= 3 minutes. Someone provided here inputs to plot Gartleys in Tickcharts - but that's like a casino..... I didn't get any Gartley in a higher Timeframe with this indicator. The only thing you can do with this indicator is to try varios inputs...
The problem of this idicator is to locate the turning-points correctly. So I develop a Gartley and Butterfly-indicator of my own. I works fine with a dynamic turning-point-finder.

                                For example the two pictures:
red and blue is for butterfly and darkcyan and magenta is for gartley. The pictures show the ES last week 5 minutes.
