    Custom market breadth charts possible?

Is it possible to create custom market breadth charts?

    #2
    Hello,

By default there are various instruments available that will plot market breadth, such as the ADD, DJIA, DVOL, etc. Go to the Instrument Manager and select "Index" under "Type:" and hit search and you will see all available indices.

In addition, you can create new instruments by clicking "New" in the Instrument Manager.

If you are referring to creating your own custom instruments...then this is currently not supported.

        Thanks.

The custom instruments is what was looking for.

Just wanting to see if there was a way in code to create a custom instrument that would collect all of the ticks of a basket of stocks and look like an index. If not, any plans in the future. NeoTicker has this capability and I was wanting to move over to Ninja Trader.

This is not currently supported, this is on our list but I can't commit to an ETA, not in the short term. What can be done in NT7 is a multi-series indicator that can be plotted as indicator, not as a bar. If all you care about is the close value then this would be sufficient.
