Default Error Message "....shut down NJ...restart..."

The message came when I had opened the condition builder, selected add, misc and upon touching highest bar. It happened more than once.

The feature to send you an email came back with a message saying that something to the effect hat it had tried but the receiver was not available. Later, I tried again and another error "The attachment file does not exist" came up. (No matter the check box selection)

Installed .05 and have the same issues.


1. Error message when adding highest or lowest bar under misc on the conditional builder.

2, Error Message... Failed to send email...
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time.......etc

On 1): Sorry, I would not know what causes this. You could try a full uninstall and reinstall of NT and .NET runtime by:
- uninstall NT
- uninstall .NET runtime
- clear your browser cache
- install again .NET runtime from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

On 2) Please set your preferred SMTP server by Tools->Options->Misc

I have sent to you by email the trace/log zip file ahead of trying a complete unintall / reinstall of NJ and .net

If I set my ISP SMTP info, I get another error message.

I removed all .net files uninstalled NJ and deleted the folders.

Same issues.

If I touch highest bar or lowest bar within the condition builder, I get ...

NT has detected a problem and needs to shut down. Information sent to the trace file.
Please restart and email support, the file.......

When entering my SMTP info and pressing test... I get...

Failed to send no host known

If I send it.. I get DNS error Get HostByName.

Not sure where that leaves me. I was trying to get your product to work to trade Forex.

I can if you think warranted, I have access to another computer and can try an install on it.

Installed a fresh download of NT and installed it on machine#2 and attempted to reproduce the problem. No issue appeared.

The machine having the issue is running....
Windows 2000
AMD Athlon XP 2700
2GiG of memory

The machine NOT having the issue is running...
Windows Vista
AMD 64 Athlon Processor 3800+
2GiG of memory

Thanks for feedback.

Last resort:
- uninstall NT and .NET
- clear your browser cache
- manually delete <my documents>/NinjaTrader6.5 and <program files>/NinjaTrader6.5
- download .NET again
- download NT again
