Breakeven ATM Strategy plus one - Hotkey

Hello,

I would like to set a hotkey that moves my SL to breakeven plus one tick above entry point because of the commissions. How can I achieve that?

Hello nexus,

There are no Hotkeys in NinjaTrader 7 (or NinjaTrader 8) to move orders. All order entry hotkeys are for order entry.

Would you like to submit a feature request for this functionality?

If I am in an open position (and a stop loss is defined) and press the hotkey for "Breakeven ATM Strategy" then the Stop is moved to the entry point (breakeven) of my open position.

I would like to move it one tick above the entry point in order to cover the commissions. (= real breakeven)

Your request to allow the Stop Loss in an Atm Strategy to be modified to breakeven plus 1 tick with a hotkey is being tracked with ID #SFT-1109.

It is up to the NinjaTrader Development to decide if and when a request will be implemented.

Yes, please have this feature added on as soon as possible. It's been a basic feature at another broker for almost two decades now.

Add my vote. ATM Strategy > Custom Stop Strategy Parameters > Auto Breakeven provides settings for breakeven Plus (ticks). The same Plus (ticks) setting should also be at Tools > Hotkeys > Order Entry > General > Breakeven Position (and Breakeven ATM Strategy). As it is now, after a hotkey Breakeven Position stop move, an additional manual stop adjustment is always needed, and that additional action would not be necessary with a Plus (ticks) setting.

Hey NT bods, did this get implemented ? add my vote too if not, I want to be able to hotkey BE+1 (for a long) and BE-1 (for a short) .. unless there is another way to do with via a hotkey ? hovering the mouse is a bit hit and miss ..

as a work around I have set up an auto break even +1 as part of my ATM strategy .. will see how that goes, but would also be good to have hotkey functional also ..
