Novice trader here, first time posting...
I am having an issue NT with MBTrading (both demo accounts), where historical data does not load on my charts when I open them, and the option to reload historical data is greyed out. As far as I can tell this is true for all instruments.
I saw there was a thread about the same issue, suggesting that doing "DB Repair" or deleting existing historical data (and then reconnecting) will help with this. I tried all the suggested variants of deleting historical data, DB resets/repairs and reconnecting, and none helped with my issue. At one point someone from NT support said historical data is not provided by the brokers, but rather by NT, and that there was a problem with the NT historical data server. However, the last comment on this issue was on 3-5-2010 and there was no indication after doing a search that the historical data servers were down.
Can anyone offer any insight into what is going on here?
