    Unable to cancel out unmapped live orders - Issue

    Hello,

    Our strategy had stop loss and take profit order working. Right before Friday close we cancelled them manually at broker platform. When I turned the strategy on this evening, I got this error:

    Unable to cancel out unmapped live orders. .....

    I have done restarts 100s of time with no issue resubmitted stop loss and take profit, but we never had this issue before. The only thing we did differently this time was manually cancelling them at broker. Usually the strategy cancels them when it get switched on. I verified they are not on broker platform.

    I am using Ninja 7.5 (latest version) Kinetick for data and Pats for trading.

    Any idea on how to fix it?

    Thank you for your note.

    After the error, does the strategy remain running?

    On the Control Center>Tools>Options>Strategies Tab>NinjaScript Tab, what is your On Starting a real time strategy set to?

      Nope, it is set to blank, but is is kinda weird, since the indicator used inside the strategy paints things on the chart as it should. But the strategy is not running. Big issue for us as we trade large size.

        That makes no sense.

        How can that setting be "blank"?

        It is a radio button, one of the two options is absolutely set.

        So, look again, carefully, which radio button setting is it set to?

          I have it set to "Immediately submit live....", and it has been working for the past 3 years no issues.

            The issue still persists, not able to turn on strategy. Any idea how to fix it?

              Could you please send an email to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with Attn: Alan P in the Subject line. Also within the email please include a link to this thread, and attach the log and trace files for the day in subject which you can find in My Documents>NinjaTrader7>Log and My Documents>NinjaTrader7/Trace folders.

                  Alan and Support resolved my issue. This was the solution:

                  You will have to remove the instance of the strategy you were running for which you canceled the orders and start a new instance.

                  So on the control center, remove the strategy you have been trying to re enable from the strategies tab and then right click>new and add a new instance.
