Ticker symbol in chart?

It says AAPL - Technology Sector - Consumer Electronics

This information is not stored with the instrument information and is not provided by the data provider. You would need to store and call this information yourself in a custom file.

If there is no description, likely the instrument is not included in the database with installation of NinjaTrader.

With any new added instruments you would need to enter the description into the instrument settings.

SONO in particular is not included with the database. When this instrument is added it will have default / blank settings that you would need to enter for the instrument.


You would need to add some fancy logic to detect the panel size and either adjust the size of the text or adjust x and y position, but yes, I think this would be possible for you to do.

NinjaTrader does not include this functionality, but this would be possible to do using a custom coded indicator.

I would normally say that the NinjaTrader Support does not create, debug, or modify, code or logic for our clients. This is so that we can maintain a high level of service for all of our clients as well as our partners.

But..

I already had an indicator used to demonstrate how to draw text that I just enlarged the size of the text for. Since its already basically created and took minimal effort I have no issue providing this to you. I'm uploading to the file sharing as others may find this useful.
