Custom Indicators not saved on chart default template or customer template

Hi guys

I've created a couple of custom indicators, one which adds on an MA & then does some candle colouring depending on some different factors.

The Indi is all working great & the charts are now set up how I want them, however when I save the default, or save as a new template, the indicators I have created are not saved as part of that, so when I open NT8 again, my indicators are not on the charts

Am I missing some config in the indi or something? Seems odd

Other indicators are being applied as part of the template

Thank you for the post.

Generally, if an indicator cannot save, you will see an error about that. Do you see any errors in the log tab of the control center after saving or loading?

Most frequently not saving or loading is due to a serialization error, or that something couldn't be saved or loaded. This often is because of improperly formed public properties for complex types like a Brush or Color.

As you noted you are doing coloring, the following post may fit with what you have described, if so you need to review the public properties you have used and make sure the Complex objects like Brushes are serialized correctly. https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...lor_inputs.htm

If that does not apply to your situation, I would need to know if there are any errors and if so what they are.
