Operating system on VPS for the NT8 strategy

Hi guys!
Is it possible to use Windows Server 2012 to install the NT8 strategy on the VPS? Or is it better to install Windows Server 2016? Which one is stable and faster?

I'm renting VPS on the:

(cheap, convenient and fast) and when choosing an operating system, I have doubts.

What other operating systems can be suitable for NT8 on this service?
