Interactive Brokers Adaptive Algo Orders

How can we use Interactive Brokers Adaptive Algo Orders with NinjaTrader 8?

If this is still not possible please let us know when this will be supported by NinjaTrader.

Alright. Please add this feature to NinjaTrader. For active trader using momentum and market movements this is very important feature and cost money if not available.

Interactive Brokers has confirmed that Adaptive Algo Market Orders are available through API. NinjaTrader just need to support them.

Any updates? This is costing money for us that are working with market orders. I really like Ninja and would like to keep using this product also in the future.

Hey please make sure to keep me on the list also. With a market order through Ninjatrader I'm executing around the bid or slightly through it on a short position while with the IB Algo I'm executing closer to the midpoint... Very material.

This feature is absolutely necessary. With a skilled programmer this feature could be implemented in a couple of hours. Please enable it and update the TWS/IBG version. It is long time Ninja does not update this specific connector. Currently intraday trading or trades placed at the open via market orders are simply horrible due to lack of IB algo orders available such as the adaptive. VWAP would be nice too.

User requests are only a factor in whether a feature or enhancement is added to NinjaTrader; many other factors go into this decision. At this time I have no news to report for this feature request other than we are still gathering user interest.

As far as updating the TWS/IBG version, there is an inherent lag between the time IB releases a TWS update and that at which any third-party vendor can reasonably respond with a corresponding software upgrade. In the interest of keeping things stable, we periodically will update the version that NinjaTrader uses, however, it's a special version that doesn't auto-update like the versions of TWS that you get directly from them so it maintains stability.

I have added a vote for you to SFT-1636 as well. If this is added in a future release it will be noted in the Release Notes linked above.
