    Volumetric Bars

    I can't get the volumetric bars to work. I am using IQFeed on win10.

    Glad to assist. What version of NinjaTrader are you using? This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.0.X.0).

    Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

    Can you please post a screen shot of the chart in question?

    Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

      Hi Eric,
      I am receiving quotes as the current price is changing but nothing is being plotted. Please see the answers below and the attached screen shot (though the screen shot is mostly blank).

        Thank you for your reply.

        To test, please right click on the chart and select Reload All Historical Data. If you are unable to reload, please restart NinjaTrader.

        If you still see the same result, please write into to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]Com along with your log and trace files and a link to this forum post.


        Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.

        * Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
        * Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        * Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
        * Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
