    Add Indicator as a variable

    Hi i would like to know how to store the indicator as a variable and do something like that using NT7 platform:

    Var = EMA(14);

    protected override void Initialize()
    {
    Var.Panel = 2;
    Add(Var));
    Var.Plots[0].Pen.Color = Color.Red;
    }

    protected override void OnBarUpdate()
    {
    double indicator = Var[0];
    .....

    }

    Thanks for the support
    kind regards
    chris

    many examples in here, note adding indicators under on bar update is not efficient but easier to code

      Hello cbadr,

      Thank you for your note.

      Above protected override void OnStateChange(), You could declare,

      Private EMA xEMA;

      Then within State.Configure,

      xEMA = EMA(14);
      AddChartIndicator(xEMA);
      xEMA.Panel = 2;
      xEMA.Plots[0].Brush = Brushes.Cyan;

      You could also see the following example,
