How can an add-on programmatically enable or disable the auto close feature for a given instrument?

If so, are you asking how to both manage the items in the list or do you currently have that part and just need to enable/disable items?

Thank you for your quick reply.

There's a context menu item 'Auto close position' in NT chart trader.
I need the same feature in my add-on.
It seems that all I have to do is programmatically add or remove items to Tools -> Options -> Trading -> Auto Close Position -> Instrument list.

Is there an exposed method to manage the list in my add-on?

As far as I am aware, there is no documented way to do this currently so I will need to see if there are any exposed methods/ways that could be suggested. Once I have more details I will reply back here.

After further research, it looks like there is currently nothing documented/supported in this area that I could provide. For this, I will need to put in a feature request to expose these options. For the time being, you would need to modify the Tools -> Options -> Trading -> Auto Close Position -> Instrument list or check/uncheck from the chart trader to toggle this.
