Which data stream provider for Dax titles can you recommend?

    Hi guys

I am completely new to NT. So, sorry for this basic questions.
I want to do volume analysis on a couple of titles of the german DAX ( blue chip stock market index).
To do that I need tick data (price and volume of every print), ideally showing also Bid/Ask.
Which data provider can you recommend?
And is it possible to save this tick data somehow?
Best would be of course to have access to historical tick data, but I guess this will be difficult, because of the data volume.
Would also be great if you could send me a sample NT script how to access and process afterwards the tick data.

    Any help is very welcome!

    Hello Juanito2000,
Thanks for your post and welcome to the NT Forum!.

If you are simply doing analysis than you may want to take a look at Kinetick. Kinetick has been optimized to be the fastest, most stable, and most affordable data solution for the NinjaTrader platform.

You can record live data by going to your NinjaTrader Control Center>Tools>Options>Market Data>Real-time>and check the box that says "Record live data as historical"

Best would be of course to have access to historical tick data, but I guess this will be difficult, because of the data volume.
You can download historical tick data from your NinjaTrader Control Center>Tools>Historical data>select the "Load" tab>select instrument, start/end date, sect "Tick" as the Interval>select ask/bid/last data to be downloaded>click the Download button

Help Guide- How to Download Historical Data
Would also be great if you could send me a sample NT script how to access and process afterwards the tick data.
This could be done in several different ways, but the following reference samples demonstrate how to write to a text file or create your own level II data book for later analysis.

Using StreamWriter to write to a text file

Using StreamReader to read from a text file

Using System.IO File properties to write to and read from a text file

Creating your own Level II data book

Please let me know if you have any questions.
