    are Series always return updated?

    Question 1)

    lets say, i have indicator `indi`:

    Code:
        public Series<double> MyValues{
          get; set;
        }

        State.DataLoaded {
           MyValues = new Series<double>(this);
        }
    lets say, I am calling this indicator from another indi:

    Print( indi.MyValues[0] );

    will this print the latest version? or instead I should coded a long way in the `indi` :

    Code:

       public Series<double> MyValues{
          get { Update(); return val; }  set { val = value; }
        }
        private Series<double> val;

    I ask this because I dont remember how internals handle `Series` and if `Update()` needed or not.

    Question 2)

    this question doesnt depend on the above answer. Just in general, if you can give me a small advise too, how can I return the property itself, while doing update(), without using another variable? this doesnt work ( causes recursion crash ):
    Code:

       public Dictionary MyValues{
          get { Update(); return MyValues;}
          set ; // if i use declaration in getter, then I have to use complete declaration here, othewise this fires another error
        }

    Hello TazoTodua,

    Thank you for your note.

    To ensure the latest version is called you should use update.

    You would not be able to call update without using another variable, for example,

    Code:
    [Browsable(false)]
    [XmlIgnore]
    public Series <double> OpenInterestDataSeries
     {
    get {Update(); return openInterestDataSeries; }
    }
    Please let us know if you need further assistance.
