Is there any way to download all data from S&P500

    Hello,

Did a quick (by quick i mean couple of hours) google search and didn't find an answer so i am asking here:

"Is there any way to download all the data from S&P500/100 at once? I mean not the index but all the tickers separatly." I have a strategy and I want to scan the data everyday in order to find which ticker meets the condition without doing it myself.

I don't really care if I'll do it in the NinjaTrader or if it lets me download the data and then I'll do it in ..probably matlab or something.

    Thank you.

    Hello arriassel,

    Thank you for writing in.

    Yes and its free.

The source for financial, economic, and alternative datasets, serving investment professionals.

You click on the contract you want, then in the upper right under export data you click the API which you prefer. You could do this manually 1 by 1 or write a script which will download all the contracts.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

      Hi,

This is interesting, since there are instruments that I would like to trade/scan and there simply is not data that can be purchased.

Is there a way to automatically "import/refresh" downloaded data from Quandl into Ninjatrader?

      br,
      Christian

Hi Christian, thanks for your note.

There's not a way to re-import data automatically. Data imported from a .txt file will need to be imported from Tools>Import>Historical data. Only a supported data feed will pull historical data automatically.

        Kind regards,
