Fibonacci Based Pivots

Hi all,

I'm looking for a fibonacci based pivot indicator vs. the already built in classical pivot indicator.

Any ideas where I can find one?

The indicator as per link above calculates fibonacci retracements and expansions. I have not touched it for years, as it plots too many lines.

However, it is possible to use the SessionPivotsV42 indicator to display both Fibonacci pivots and JacksonZones. The formulae used are as follows.

Fibonacci Pivots:

PP = (Y-High + Y-Low + Y-Close) / 3
R1 = PP + 0.382 * Y-Range
S1 = PP - 0.382 * Y-Range
R2 = PP + 0.618 * Y-Range
S2 = PP - 0.618 * Y-Range
R3 = PP + Y-Range
S3 = PP - Y-Range
R4 = PP + 1.382 * Y-Range
S4 = PP - 1.382 * Y-Range
R5 = PP + 1.618 * Y-Range
S5 = PP - 1.618 * Y-Range

Jackson Zones:

PP = (Y-High + Y-Low + Y-Close) / 3
R1 = PP + 0.500 * Y-Range
S1 = PP - 0.500 * Y-Range
RB1 = PP + 0.618 * Y-Range
SB1 = PP - 0.618 * Y-Range
R2 = PP + Y-Range
S2 = PP - Y-Range
RB2 = PP + 1.382 * Y-Range
SB2 = PP - 1.382 * Y-Range
R3 = PP + 1.618 * Y-Range
S3 = PP - 1.618 * Y-Range

With both settings the indicator also displays the pivot range (blue), where

CP = (Y-High + Y-Low)/2
DP = (Y-High + Y-Low + 4*Y-Close)/6

JacksonZones are basically a symmetrical variation of floor pivots with support and resistance bands added to the first two upper and lower levels. Fibonacci pivots are again very similar to Jackson Zones, as the only difference is the first level which is calculated from a smaller multiple of yesterday's range compared to the JacksonZones.

The indicator allows you to calculate ETH Fibonacci pivots and RTH Fibonacci pivots (if you wish to display RTH Fibonacci pivots on a full session chart, a specific session template is required). Yesterday's close (or settlement) can be taken from daily data or intraday data.

The Session Pivots also plot historical pivots. You can set them to plot Fibonacci pivots as well. Please follow the download link.

This package will be definitely ported to NinjaTrader 8. I have already ported about 40 indicators and will publish them in a few days. This one still needs to be recoded.
